Book Exhibit and Sale Hours

The Annual Book Exhibit will commence on Thursday afternoon, April 24, 2026, at 1:00PM, and continue daily during the meeting at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza, 251 S Olive St, Los Angeles, CA 90012 USA

Beginning on Sunday afternoon, April 23 and continuing through Monday morning April 24, all books exhibited will go on sale.

 

Books should be shipped in advance (by April 22, 2026) of the meeting to:

Each exhibit table carries a fee of at $250, payable in advance.
Ads may be placed in the Program ($500 full-page, $250 half-page).
We need to receive ad copy by December 31, 2025.

 

Publishers’ discount sales brochures will also be available with which one may order titles directly from publishers. In past years, several publishers and vendors, among them Brill, Encyclpaedia Iranica, ISD (Ian Stevens), Penn State University Press/Eisenbrauns, New York University Press (Library of Arabic Literature), , will oversee exhibits and offered discounted sales. Those wishing to purchase at discount from these publishers and vendors will deal directly with them.

 

Book Exhibit Hours:

Set-up: Friday morning beginning at 8:30AM
Friday afternoon: 1:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.

Saturday: 8:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m.

Sunday: 8:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

Monday morning: 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

 

NOTE: The book exhibit hours will continue all day beginning at 8:30 a.m., when publisher and vendor representatives are present. The Book Exhibit and Registration room will be closed and locked after 6:00 p.m. each day of the meeting. We request that all meeting participants exit the Book Exhibit and Registration room promptly by 6:00 p.m.
